How to Purchase a bird from us.
As we are private breeders and not a commercial pet store, we individually find new owners for most of our birds prior being fully weaned. Most birds are seasonal breeders so they don't breed all year round (ie. we do not keep "stock" of birds on hand). This means that we may not have the bird you want available on short notice.

Once you have chosen a species you are interested in please register your interest by requesting notification of availability via our shop page. You will be automatically notified when birds become available Please note that if you register your interest and receive notification that that species is available you are not ready yet but want to stay on the list you will need to re-register your interest.
All our babies are sold fully weaned, this is non-negotiable. This time can take between 8-12 weeks and sometimes longer for some of the larger species. All our birds include as a min:

- DNA sexing certificate
- Information Pack
- Toy
- Samples of food that they have been weaned onto.

We start handrasing our birds from around 2 weeks of age. They are raised in clean smoke free homes and handled by adults of both sexes and children. They raise around household noises including other bird noises, dogs barking, children playing, Tv / music background noises, vacuum cleaners etc so they are ready for their new environments.

To secure a baby we ask that you please make your purchase via the website. We won't take deposits and we will not offer the birds for sale until they are ready to go. For updates on clutches and to watch how our babies are growing please follow us on Facebook or Instagram.
Purchasing Fertile Poultry Eggs from us
All fertile eggs are posted in specialised insulated foam packaging and sent via Australia Post Express. We post all eggs on Mondays so that they are received within the same week. We often have waitlists for our fertile eggs so please get in contact with us in advance so we can organise postage or provide you with an expected time frame.
All payments must be made prior to postage. Local pick is available upon appointment only.

Purchasing Poultry chick and ducklings from us
Ducklings and chicks are available for pick up only. We are happy to work with you if you would like to arrange collection from a third party animal transport company, however we take no responsibility for them once the leave us. Please discuss any guarantees and warranties with the transport company themselves. Young chicks and ducklings will need heat, food and water if traveling for long distances. In these cases fertile eggs may be the better option.
